Getting Started
How much does Astra cost?
Astra offers three pricing tiers: Free (50 AI actions/month), Plus ($19/month for 1,000 actions), and Pro ($49/month for 5,000 actions). You can also bring your own API key (BYOK) for unlimited actions. See our pricing page for full details.
What integrations are supported?
Astra currently supports 7 major integrations: Stripe, PayPal, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets), GitHub, and Linear. We're constantly adding new integrations based on user demand.
Do I need coding skills to use Astra?
No! Astra is designed for everyone. You interact with it using natural language—just describe what you want to do, and Astra handles the technical implementation automatically.
How do I get started?
Sign up for a free account, connect your first integration in Settings → Integrations, and start chatting with Astra. Check our Getting Started guide for a detailed walkthrough.
Integrations
How do I connect integrations?
Navigate to Settings → Integrations in your Conduit dashboard. Click on the integration you want to connect and follow the OAuth authorization flow. Most integrations connect in under 2 minutes.
Are my integration credentials secure?
Yes. Conduit uses OAuth 2.0 for all integrations, meaning we never store your passwords or API keys. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can revoke access at any time.
Can I connect multiple accounts for the same integration?
Currently, you can connect one account per integration. If you need multiple accounts (e.g., multiple Stripe accounts), please reach out to support.
What happens if I disconnect an integration?
If you disconnect an integration, Astra will no longer be able to perform actions with that tool. Existing automations using that integration will stop working until you reconnect.
AI Actions & Usage
What are AI Actions?
AI Actions are the currency that powers Astra. Each request you make to Astra consumes a certain number of actions based on the complexity of the task and the AI model used. Your monthly limit depends on your subscription tier.
How are actions counted?
Simple queries use fewer actions, while complex multi-step automations use more. Astra automatically selects the most efficient model for each task to optimize your action usage.
What happens when I run out of actions?
If you reach your monthly limit, Astra will notify you and you won't be able to make new requests until your actions reset at the start of the next month. You can upgrade your plan or purchase additional action packs anytime.
Can I bring my own API key?
Yes! With BYOK (Bring Your Own Key), you can use your own API key for unlimited AI actions. This is perfect for power users who want maximum control and flexibility.
AI Models
What AI models does Astra use?
Astra is powered by state-of-the-art AI models. Our intelligent routing system automatically selects the best model for each task to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
Do I choose which model to use?
No, Astra uses intelligent routing to automatically select the best model for each task. This ensures you always get the best results without needing to understand the technical differences between models.
Can I use my own API key with BYOK?
Yes! With BYOK (Bring Your Own Key), you can use your own API key for unlimited AI actions and access to additional models.
Automation & Workflows
How do I create an automation?
Simply tell Astra what you want to automate in natural language. For example: 'Send me a Slack message when a Stripe payment over $1000 comes through.' Astra will confirm the setup and start monitoring for triggers.
Can I schedule recurring automations?
Yes! You can create time-based automations like 'Every Friday at 5pm, send me a weekly revenue report from Stripe.'
How do I edit or delete an automation?
Tell Astra to modify or remove the automation: 'Stop sending me Slack notifications for Stripe payments' or 'Change the payment threshold to $2000.'
What if something goes wrong with an automation?
Astra includes automatic error handling and will notify you if an automation fails. For provider errors, Astra will automatically refund the AI actions consumed. You can also check the troubleshooting guide for common issues.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use OAuth 2.0 for integrations and never store your passwords. Our infrastructure follows industry best practices for security.
What data does Astra access?
Astra only accesses data necessary for your specific automations. For example, if you connect Stripe, Astra can access payment data only when you explicitly ask it to perform a Stripe-related task.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can request a full data export or account deletion at any time through Settings → Privacy. We comply with GDPR and CCPA data protection regulations.
Do you sell my data?
Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data or integration data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Billing & Pricing
How does billing work?
Billing is monthly and renews automatically. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. When you upgrade mid-cycle, you're credited for the unused portion of your current plan.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days, contact support for a full refund.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails, we'll retry automatically and send you an email notification. Your account will remain active for 7 days while we attempt to process payment. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.
