Full handoff forwards all calls on your business line to your assistant — it answers straight away, and your phone doesn't ring at all. People use it for nights where instant pickup matters, vacations, and heads-down days.
Turning it on and off is always a code you dial — no app or website can flip call forwarding for you, on any phone. Pick Send every call under Send your calls to your assistant (on the go-live screen, and on Home until a forwarded call comes through) and the exact code appears; on an Android phone, Tap to dial opens your dialer with it typed, and on an iPhone you tap Copy and paste it into the keypad. One code arms it, one brings your calls back, and the off code sits right under it. The per-carrier codes are in forwarding your existing number.
Know before you arm it:
- While armed, you cannot receive any calls on that line — including a 911 dispatcher calling it back if you ever dial 911 from it. Your assistant treats any caller identifying as emergency services as an immediate emergency and engages your escalation chain.
- It stays on until you dial the off code.
- After arming, call your own number from another phone: your assistant should answer. If it doesn't, dial the code again.
