Full handoff (forward every call)

Full handoff forwards every call on your line to your assistant so your phone never rings, armed and disarmed by a code you dial yourself.

Full handoff forwards all calls on your business line to your assistant — it answers instantly, and your phone doesn't ring at all. People use it for nights where instant pickup matters, vacations, and heads-down days.

Turning it on and off is always a code you dial — no app can flip call forwarding for you, on any phone. On Android we can open your dialer with the code already typed; on iPhone you copy the code and dial it in the Phone app's keypad. One code arms it, one brings your calls back, and the off code is always visible in the app while you're armed.

Know before you arm it:

  • While armed, you cannot receive any calls on that line — including a 911 dispatcher calling it back if you ever dial 911 from it. Your assistant treats any caller identifying as emergency services as an immediate emergency and engages your escalation chain.
  • It stays on until you dial the off code. We remind you at your opening time if it's still armed, and prompt you at closing time if you want it on.
  • After arming, run "Test that it took" — we place a check call and confirm your assistant picks up. If the dial didn't take, we tell you within minutes.

Prefer your phone to ring first and only send missed calls to your assistant? That's the default Safety Net setup — see "Forwarding your existing number."
